Former Houston Texans quarterback Ryan Mallett, who was a head coach at a high school in Arkansas has died. Mallett drowned in Destin, Florida, on June 27, 2023, and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. He was 35.
According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Mallett was stuck on a sandbar and drowned while attempting to make it back to land.
