People get the spoilers from all over the place.
Personally I can’t be bothered spending hours scouring the net to find these things. I just wait for them to appear on this site, which they eventually do. 
Spoilers are released by the show or CBS. There are video promos from CBS that tease upcoming stories - like the big one coming up on Valentines Day you referred to.
Search You Tube Young and Restless Valentine’s Day promo 2015 for the new one.
A reliable source for spoilers is also Soap Central who get them from the show.
Joy_T February 10, 2015, 4:22pm 4About once a week, I will just google “Young and Restless News” and Celebrity Dirty Laundry pops up ALL kinds of interesting spoilers. Some of them are speculations but some have come true.
The Celebrity Dirty Laundry folks said a month ago that Neil was going to find wife and son in bed together and seek revenge on them so that much, they had correct.
I think they get leaked so people will talk about the show.
I personally like it better to speculate myself and then just watch it unfold.
